Unity strengthened between ISSF departments with new cooperation meetings

The biweekly meetings will bring together all major ISSF departments to discuss future vision.

To start the New Year, the ISSF has established regular cooperation meetings between their departments to further solidify its ambitions for 2025 and beyond.

Chaired by ISSF Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo, the first of the fortnightly meetings was held in a hybrid format between the ISSF headquarters in Munich, Germany, and online.

The mission of the meetings is to create a concentrated, efficient forum for all departments to liaise regularly - providing more accountability and improved communication between teams.

Positive discussions took place between the the Secretary General, the Events, Communications, Marketing and Broadcast Departments, while the ISSF Governance Unit provided feedback on any concerns that should be considered by staff moving forward.

Event Manager Jan Ketzel and Sports Director Peter Underhill provided provisional updates to the 2025 calendar, while Communications Manager Nick Davies and Head of Marketing Andrea Cuneo and their teams discussed smoother integration between the departments and their plans for 2025 with ISSF TV Manager, Leonardo de Mai.

Meetings will be held bi-weekly in a hybrid format, with departments expected to deliver updates on their projects.
