Members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of ISSF’s Development Fund gathered for a virtual meeting on 4 February.
The BoT Chairperson Hazem Hosny, Members Cath Fettel, Francisco Boza, Melis Giraud, Duaij Al Otaibi, ISSF General Secretary Alessandro di Nicotra San Giacomo and ISSF’s legal counsel Marvin Thormann, discussed the “2024 Winter Programmes” with the BoT approving funds for 18 Member Federations for a total amount of €238.781.71.
This is the second group of MFs that is receiving support in Equipment by ISSF.
“It is great to work with a dedicated group of ExCo members to support our Member Federations in such a direct and useful way," said Nicotra di Giacomo.
“President Rossi and the entire ISSF leadership team have made Development of the sport and assistance to our federations a cornerstone for future growth, and the BoT will continue to work hard to provide support where it is needed most.”
All five continents are represented on the BoT overseeing the Fund, which deals with claims up to €20,000, with larger sums requiring ExCo approval.
The Fund aims to support nations in shooting sport who are in early development mode by providing equipment such as targets, scoring systems, shooting equipment and ammunition.
