The shooting sport world is ready to return to India this year, as the ISSF Junior World Cup is to be hosted in New Delhi from 24 September to 2 October 2025.
This addition comes after approval by the ISSF Executive Committee during its meeting in Rome in November.
New Delhi was part of the 2024 calendar, hosting the season-ending ISSF World Cup Final event in October.
This is scheduled to be the second Junior World Cup of the season, following the event to be held in Suhl, Germany from 19 to 27 May.
Both Junior World Cup events will feature rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines.
ISSF Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo said: "Our Indian organisers delivered a successful ISSF World Cup Final to end a remarkable 2024 season on a high and we welcome them back with open arms to host a leg of the 2025 ISSF Junior World Cup.
"We have seen stars of the future emerge from India in recent times and this is another opportunity to inspire citizens of the most populated nation in the world."
