Junior men team title also went to United States.

A triple threat of gold medals went the way of the United States in skeet competition, with the country starting the Junior Shotgun Championship of the Americas in fine form.

Top qualifier in the women's skeet final, Madeline Corbin, lived up to her pre-final buzz, holding off Emily Padilla of Guatemala by three points to claim the gold medal. Corbin, who was fifth at the ISSF Junior World Championships in the event, finished with a total of 53 to Padilla's 50.

The Guatemalan denied an American one-two or clean sweep of the podium as Gracelynn Hensley - the world silver medallist - took bronze, defeating compatriot Alishia Layne to the final medal.

Benjamin Keller claimed victory in the men's final, leading an American one-two, ahead of top qualifier Aidin Burns. Junior world silver medallist Keller's total in the final was 51 to Burns' 49, while Raimundo Roche from Chile again stopped the US standing on all steps of the podium, edging out Westley Kiter for the bronze.

The men's team gold medal went to the American trio, ahead of Chileans Roche, Rodrigo Moyano and Jose Miguel Sepulveda. Juan Carlos Olvera, Jose Gabriel Hernandez and Eduardo Gonzalez claimed the bronze medal.
